Best time for your Eze Proposal pictures?
The perfect time to capture beautiful pictures with lovely lighting and fewer crowds is about 90 minutes before sunset. Sunrise session is also an option, but it can be earlier, as you are aiming to stay within 90 minutes of the sunrise, and Exotic Garden, doesn’t open before 9:00 AM
For a proposal at the top of the exotic garden, I do advise 15 minutes before it closes. But aim to be there 10 minutes earlier, so as to be able to relax after the “climbing” of the hill.

So as to have your beloved one dress well, let her/him know you will have dinner in a fine restaurant.

Eze Proposal: Timing
- to get there before dinner time, let your beloved one know, you have booked a table for the cocktail, and enjoy the sunset.
- Once you are at the top of the hill, give yourself minutes, to take your breath back, take a few pictures and enjoy the view
Make it comfortable
So to get to the top of the hill, it is a 15-20 minutes walk, with many stairs, make sure to have comfortable shoes (avoid high hills).
Where to park
at the entrance of the village, the town. the hill is pedestrian-only.
Chateau Eza and Chèvre d’Or have concierges, at the entrance of the town.
How to get to the Exotic Garden
If you don’t stay in Eze and are driving your car, you might need some time to find where to park (a limited number of parking). Make sure to have enough time (at least 45 minutes before the proposal).
The easiest is to have a taxi or Uber drive you there.
From the parking, you should need 15-20 minutes to reach the exotic garden, if you walk gently.
