Château de la Chèvre d’Or served as the venue for their proposal because it stands as one of the most romantic locations on the French Riviera. Following the garden proposal with its endless Côte d’Azur panorama, we strolled through Èze village to reach dinner. When the sun disappeared behind the cliffs, we showed her a private, floral-covered candlelit balcony at Château Eza. She was speechless.
A Late September Evening in Èze
The Riviera becomes especially lovely during the autumn season when proposing to your loved one. The village of Èze remains tranquil during golden hour as the light becomes gentler and warmer. That evening we had the Café du Jardin terrace all to ourselves because summer crowds had disappeared, thus granting us an exclusive view of the sea and the September sunset’s magical glow. Château de la Chèvre d’Or gardens seemed to lose their pace as the sun shone upon the hillside terraces. He took his position on one of the hillside terraces before he asked the question at the perfect moment. The “yes” brought happy tears to her face before we walked peacefully through Èze’s cobbled streets and stone arches while the evening light cast its soft glow.
