Discover this lovely autumn wedding on the sunny French Riviera. An English-Indian bride and a French Groom having a gorgeous multi-cultural wedding at Chateau Vaugrenier
Indian ceremony in the Garden
The wedding started with the prep of the Bride, surrounded by her best friend and family. Indian wedding outfits are so gorgeous! They had their Indian ceremony in the garden of Chateau de Vaugrenier. I do love Indian weddings, and the ceremony because of all the meaning and special elements to receive the groom in his new family, link the couple and wish them all the best. The priest who especially flew from the UK, was very kind, explaining everything so as French guests to understand every part of the ceremony. Even for early October on the French Riviera, it was still a hot day. After the ceremony, French guests had the pleasure to enjoy (delicious) Indian food for the lunch.
Wedding Ceremony in Antibes
Once lunch completed, the bride, groom, and guests changed their outfits for the French Ceremony in Antibes. This town was special for the groom as he grew up there. They even have a drink in Antibes, before heading back to Chateau Vaugrenier. A nice way to rest and enjoy a moment with bridesmaid and best man.
Garden Cocktail and castle dinner
The cocktail was served in the garden, along with fountains, with a band playing. Thanks to the French Riviera, the day was still warm and dry and people were able to enjoy the garden and dance. Speeches were also held in the garden before night time. Once bouquet time came, the groom’s mother had it (a fun moment). In October sun set early, so we had a quick couple portrait session before heading to the castle dining room. After the Indian lunch guests enjoyed a French gourmet dinner. Speech from the groom’s sister (who flew from Australia) was as emotional as usher speech was fun. The dinner ended up with a crazy party
