French Riviera is such an amazing sunny place for seaside and nature lovers. That is the place those two lovebirds selected for their super intimate elopement wedding. A romantic venue, surrounded by nature, facing the sea.
American Elopement wedding near Saint Tropez
They have contacted me a few months ago, about the wedding they wanted to have. Far from a big wedding with hundreds of guests, they wanted a ceremony with only the two of them. They really wanted to avoid the stress of the planning and the “normal” wedding schedule. For their wedding, they wanted a wedding venue surrounded by nature, close to the Mediterranean sea, where they could have a beautiful ceremony facing the sea. With the help of a French Riviera wedding planner, they fell in love with a hotel between Saint Tropez and Ramatuelle. Early July flew from the cloudy Boston to the sunny South of France to get their ceremony facing the sea.
An intimate seaside wedding on the French Riviera
Driving through Saint Tropez Vineyard to get to the wedding venue, was like driving to holidays. The sun reflecting on the sea, the sound of the cicadas. The room they had booked at the hotel had a huge private terrace. While the bride was getting ready in her room, the groom was relaxing and having a drink at the lobby, facing another beautiful sea view. Photographing two people wedding can be challenging, but with a kind couple like them, it was so nice. After the first look, their wedding ceremony was so emotional. Not too hot thanks to the fresh salty wind coming from the sea. A loving moment, where they were living their dream, with the photography and videography team being as discrete as possible.
Wedding pictures between Provence and Saint Tropez’s Seaside
Bride and groom also wanted to have a feel of Provence in their couple pictures. So after those tender moments, we drove on the small roads of the French Riviera, close to Saint Tropez, from the vineyards to the mediterranean sea. We had scouted a high place, where both were visible in a single frame. They had their couple pictures with this stunning backdrop. That is all the magic of Vineyards around Saint Tropez, where coastal landscapes encounter the charm of the Provence.
