Fly to Manchester for this colorful Indian wedding, a mix of a traditional and modern English wedding.
I was very excited when I was asked if I would like to shoot an Indian Wedding in Manchester. My immediate reply was ‘Yes’!
I have been lucky to actually shoot an amazing wedding in Delhi India [link] and could wait for the next gorgeous one. As an Indian Wedding Photographer, I love the colors, the outfits and all the intensity that comes from the tradition around Indian Weddings.
The wedding day started very early in the morning. It was a packed day of a traditional European wedding, followed by an Indian wedding under a Mandap, and then the party !!! When the bride and groom were getting ready you really feel how Indian Maharanis and Maharajas were sumptuous. All the details of the embroideries, the gems bring you back to the past: it’s magic! The fire colors for the Lehenga worn by the bride and the cream colors of the Sherwani worn by the groom were amazing. Suneeta and Pryiesh were amazing, shinning of love, kindness, and respect.
Pryiesh even arrived on a horse, walking around the golf to reach the ceremony. The Mandap was natural and you could feel the emotions and intimacy when the Antarpat was lowered. The ceremony went gently, with love and smile, thanks to the priest who was very kind and helpful.
Thank you Suneeta & Priyesh for letting us document your gorgeous wedding!
